The user interface for creating a new App Password is quite well hidden in Office 365 (its not on the Password page for example).<\/p>\n<p>Here is how to find it.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The user logs into Office 365 portal (<a href=\"http:\/\/portal.office.com\/\">http:\/\/portal.office.com<\/a>) and clicks the cog icon to the top-right of the page <\/li>\n<li>Click Office 365 Settings <\/li>\n<li>Scroll down past Password and choose Additional Security Verification <\/li>\n<li>Click Update my phone numbers used for account security <\/li>\n<li>Click \u201capp passwords\u201d on the top menu. This takes you to <a href=\"https:\/\/account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com\/AppPasswords.aspx\">https:\/\/account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com\/AppPasswords.aspx<\/a>.
